The Real World: Bilingual Children

What I know about bilingual children is that there are children in this world that are raised by learning more than one language. I know that this somewhat of a positive and negative thing for your child. What I want to know what the side effects of being bilingual are and how do they affect our children today. After reading this article I learned that parents shouldn’t fear if their children are exposed to more than one language because it is better for them to know one more language. What I still want to know is can being bilingual affect a children’s education a lot or a little.

    I believe that it is positive for children to be bilingual. It opens up doors for you to communicate with others of a different language and also can help you get a job as a translator in the future.
